Golf Town Community

At Golf Town, we extend our passion for golf beyond our stores’ four walls. We strongly believe in growing the game and inspiring the next generation of golfers, and the way we achieve this is through the work we do in our communities on and off the golf course.
We dedicate ourselves to making a difference in every golfer’s game, whether they are new to golf or have been playing for years. Contributing to our communities and conversations about golf is at the core of everything we do, and among many programs and partnerships we have the opportunity to foster in the golf community.
Golf Town is proud to be helping Canadians of all abilities come out and play!

Golf Town is a proud partner of the Mike Weir Clinic
“We need the kids to get out and play and enjoy it. There’s a lot of other distractions from our youth, we had baseball and some other things to do in the summer. But now they can be distracted by gadgets and some other things and not activity driven things. To get ‘em involved with golf is something they can be outside with their friends at whatever level of play.” - Mike Weir |
Golf Town is also the proud partner with the Jays Care Foundation!
Giving back — it is part of our DNA at Golf Town. Sharing our love for the game goes beyond playing it. We’re also passionate about giving back by supporting communities across Canada and inviting them to come out and play. That’s why we are extremely proud to partner with Rogers Sports & Media on their recently launched inclusion and diversity program All IN to help introduce young professionals to the game of golf.
In the past 12 months, more Canadians than ever have taken to the sport and playing golf can open up many opportunities as it connects people in the business community. No matter what industry you work in, chances are your company or management are involved in the game in some fashion. By partnering with Jays Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays, we are helping break down barriers and grow the game of golf for young people.
On June 28, 15 young professional from the Sportsnet BIPOC mentorship and coaching workshop were invited to attend the 26th Annual Jays Care Golf Classic at RattleSnake Point Golf Club, just outside Toronto. We wanted to make sure they were properly equipped for the day and beyond so we were delighted to partner with Cobra PUMA golf to provide each young leader with a full set of Cobra golf clubs and outfitted them from head to toe in Puma gear.
The tournament itself was simply amazing and we are inspired by the next generation of leaders in Canada. Your futures are bright and we’re extremely proud to help introduce you to the game we love. Connections on the course can last a lifetime.
